About this product

The safety cage of the Petit Porteur Longtail can accommodate 2 children or a load of goods. Our cage is made in one piece of welded aluminum tubes for better rigidity and solidity. The double side tubes both protect children's hands but also provide excellent rigidity to the structure. The size of the cage allows you to fit a standard 60cmx40cm crate . Important note regarding seats for children under 5 years old: Due to the compact size, not all enveloping child seats are compatible when installed in pairs. Therefore, if you intend to install 2 enveloping seats for children under 5 years old, we recommend using the Bubbly Maxi Plus CFS model.

Le Petit Porteur builds compact 20-inch cargo bikes in its own workshop in Châtillon, just south of Paris. The brand started from a gap its founders hit as buyers — everything on the market was bulky and expensive — and answers it with three CroMo frames, the OG, the Shorty and the Longtail, built entirely around standard components so any bike shop can service them. Its accessories are made for those frames and nothing else: aluminium front and rear racks, welded child cages, spoke guards, folding pegs, footplates and double kickstands, each cut for a specific frame version.
